Halloween Update

Here is the 2007 story. I wanted to be a storm trooper since the summer, but when my costume finally came in the mail I it didn't fit right and it felt too delicate, so I decided to be a knight. I did put on my storm trooper costume. Mom never even got a photo of me in it with my helmet, cause I took it off and then hid! Then I asked for help to change back into my knight costume. I love my knight costume, and I wear the cape around all the time. It makes a good jedi knight costume too!

Blast from the Past!

Halloween from years gone by...
We ran into a friend at the Y (Melissa and Phoenix who used to run a wonderful playgroup at their Kasala Yoga Studio), who remembered my famous halloween costume 2 years ago- 2005. Mom was wracking her brain for a costume and came up with a great idea of cute things we already had from good old Old Navy. Yeah for getting great stuff when you see it!
Spider slippers, and a spider hat went with a scary mummy shirt (shirt from Aunt Amy who is always coming up with cool kids clothes for me).
And last year Mom went all out and actually bought me a cool Thomas costume. It was the best, with a big pouch for candy! Here I am trick or treating for the very first time, in my neighborhood!
And last but not least is my first Halloween! 2003!!!
Here I am sitting with Mommy and my friend Kendra(as Jasmin) in Sag Harbor.
If you've been counting, I did miss one Halloween, 2004.
Wait til you see my costume for this year!

New York Hall of Science

Our last field trip of the summer (from YMCA summer camp) was to the New York Hall of Science. It was leftover and built on the old 1964-5 World's Fair in New York City in Flushing Meadow Queens. We saw tons of great stuff, I wish I could show you everything, but here's a few pics of some of my favorite things. Maybe if I have time I'll show you more...Inside, we all got to play with molecules and make our own creations.
The whole class had fun putting pieces together.
My teacher Barbara is helping one of the boys get a better view of centrifugal force on metal balls rolling around and around and around....
The hall of mirrors...
More hall of mirrors, don't my friends look funny!
A very cool machine that made shadows of us in color
We heard the story of how a caterpillar becomes a butterfly. First they Munch. Crunch. Munch. Crunch
This was the site of the 1964-65 New York Worlds Fair. My mom went here with her family when she was a little girl.
This is one of the first real rocket ships!
We built our own. These are my 2 best buddies from summer camp, Clyde and Angel. We hang out with Aya too (with blue headband)Boy we were tired on the way home!

Lego Batmobile!

For my birthday, I got a Lego Batmobile! It has 1045 pieces and is keeping me busy all summer. It's especially great for rainy days. My Dad helps me work on it and we do it together, teamwork!
There are ALOT of pieces. Just organizing them all is a lot of work. We started with the chassy of the car, and follow the instrusctions, section by section.

Daddy gives me a hand when I need it.
I am learning to follow written instructions and diagrams. It helps to have little hands, I'm very good at putting the tiny pieces together!

A lot of the parts move, the steering wheel goes up and down, and the gears turn things... I installed the flame throwing exhaust pipes that actually turn! They look super solid cool!

Stan and Thomas

Stan Greets Thomas
at Strasburg

Welcome!

Well, I decided it's time Stanley has a blog of his own. He takes over my blog all the time and he has plenty of stuff to go on here, so here we go. I'll start with the photo the director of the Y Pre-School asked me to take for the cover of their graduation CD. The CD was a gift to all the students from their wonderful and amazing teacher Barbra.
